History of C.W. Taylor Chapter
C.W. was originally chartered in April 1959, and met in the Patchogue Masonic Lodge. It was named after a prominent Mason and member of the community, who was influential in the founding of the chapter. The chapter met continuously through the early 1990s, when it closed for a brief period. In 1996, the chapter reopened its doors.
In 2003, C.W. moved to Smithtown, with the Smithtown Masonic Lodge becoming its new sponsoring body. It has met in Smithtown ever since.
