Brentwood Chapter As you may know, The Lodge of Antiquity #11 has been interested in having a DeMolay chapter in Brentwood. It was assumed that they would take over sponsorship of C.W. Taylor, however, they have decided to start their own chapter instead, being named the Knights of Antiquity.
Therefore, C.W. will remain on inactive status, officially still in Smithtown. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, after Knights of Antiquity is going, we can try to get C.W. back on the ball too.

Mail Drop The DeMolay office has received the labels for the mailing, as well as the letter from CW. It should be going out shortly. The date for the informational meeting has been changed to May 12, in order to give enough turnaround time for the mailing.
Washington DC New York DeMolay and Nation's Capitol DeMolay are back on terms as the respective grand lodges have resolved their differences.
December 5, 2008 Update
Mail Drop I've been in contact with Dad Brandt, the Division EO. New York DeMolay will be sponsoring a mail drop to go out some time over the next few weeks. Which means shortly after that we will be having an informational meeting/prospect party at the lodge.
Washington DC Due to circumstances beyond DeMolay's control, New York DeMolay has severed ties with Nation's Capitol DeMolay.
From Dad Glassman, New York DeMolay Executive Officer: As I am sure every Masonic Advisor knows by now, that as of November 5th, the Grand Lodge of New York has withdrawn formal recognition of the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia until further notice. We in New York DeMolay support our Grand Lodge and our Grand Master. Therefore there are to be no activities with DeMolay in the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia. No office can be held with any Chapter, Advisory Council, Court of Chevalier or Priory of the Legion of Honor, Alumni, or other association of DeMolay not already mentioned, in the jurisdiction of New York, by any Mason from the District of Columbia, until this matter is resolved by the Grand Lodges themselves.
